Lewandowski out, Zirkzee in at Bayern? “We will talk to him soon” | Bundesliga

The Lewandowski rumor mill is running at full speed. The Polish record striker of Bayern Munich is often linked to a departure. For example, Barcelona would be in pole position to tie the attacker.

Yet Julian Nagelsmann, Bayern’s coach, does not seem to be concerned about his goal-getter’s departure. “Robert is still part of my plans for next season. I’m not worried about the rumours. He still has a contract with us until mid-2023.”

“I will not veto to keep Lewandowski at the club. I am not important enough for that. As a trainer you should not always take yourself too seriously. Robert and I currently maintain a good relationship.”

Anderlecht already has a potential replacement for Lewandowski. Joshua Zirkzee could return to his German parent club this summer. Nagelsmann followed

“Zirkzee has had a good season at Anderlecht so far. He can present good figures to us. That is positive, but that is why he will also be an interesting transfer target for other clubs.”

“At the moment, no decision has been made about his future. We will soon talk with him to find out what the best track is for his future.” †
