This kitten could be saved! Malia, who lives in New York, USA, was at Co-Op City Field in the Bronx to watch a baseball game her son was attending. She heard a group of somewhat excited people say that a litter of kittens had been found in the field.
The kittens were in poor condition, dirty and quite thin, and desperately needed help. Malia handed them over to a lifeguard called Sunny so she could save them.
Sunny told Love Meow:
“She and her husband quickly brought the little ones to me. My son (CJ Sung) and I picked them up, bathed them and bottle fed them all. »
Rescued Kitten Cuddles Young Boy and Won’t Let Go
The kittens appeared to be around 3 weeks old and still needed 24 hour care. They picked up quite a bit of strength from day one and soon one of them started to stand out. Indeed, one of them was very attached to the youngest son of Sunny and clung to the young man.
He was really attached to the boy and didn’t like the feeling of being taken off his lap, he was clinging to him so tightly.
Sunny says:
“Chimera automatically picked up CJ and whistled at me and my eldest son, even though I brought the bottle. »
The little kittens were just passing through and as soon as they recovered they would be found a home, but CJ fell in love with this kitten from the first moment and asked his mother to adopt him.
Sunni added:
” I like it. It’s his kitten, a little female. He fell in love with him and begged me to keep him. He named her Chimera. »
Now that the kittens had recovered, they were quite active and playful. Chimera enjoyed these games, but was always running around looking for pets and cuddles from her favorite person, she seemed to be the patroness of feline mischief and was always in trouble; only next to CJ did she seem to be calm.
Within weeks the cats were fully recovered, happy and playful. Chimera really felt very comfortable.
Sunny adds:
“She likes to do stupid things and put herself in places where she shouldn’t. She is very intelligent and knows who to turn to when she has problems”.
Chimera is quite naughty, but she gets along very well with other animals and people in the house, and it’s amazing how her personality changes around CJ; she is calm and very affectionate with him.
Sunny says:
“Once the kittens came of age, Chimera’s siblings were adopted and she stayed here with us. »
The mischievous Chimera runs around doing mischief, she is really very active and restless, but as soon as she sees her favorite young master, she calms down completely. The boy’s mum says she really is a little angel next to him and he just wants to snuggle up as close as possible.
Chimera is now an adult cat and likes to wag her beautiful tail proudly; his personality is as restless as day one and his antics always make everyone at home laugh. She is a dominant cat and is always into something, she has so much energy, but from day one with CJ, Chimera has become really sweet and affectionate, and cuddling is always on the agenda.
Sunny added:
“He’s his best friend. She definitely chose him. »
