After a great start, Dusan Vlahovic (22 years old, 18 games and 7 goals in all competitions with Juventus Turin this season) is marking time with Juventus. Despite his disappointing performance, the Serbian striker, recruited for 81.6 million euros last winter, will not leave the Piedmontese club during the next summer transfer window.
“We will not argue for Vlahovic. I remind Juventus fans that Zlatan Ibrahimovic was criticized in his first year at Juventus and then exploded the following season. We just have to trust the player, give him time and Vlahovic will show what he is worth and I think he has already done that. There is no doubt about that,” Old Lady general manager Maurizio Arrivabene told the Italian press.
One thing is certain: Juventus will have to offer much more play to allow their goleador to shine.
