One silver medal and two bronze medals for the Valencian Judo Team Iacovazzi which drops a trio of medals and successes at the Italian championships in various categories with its most representative athletes.
From the Italian Under 21 Juniores Championship staged in the last few hours at the Palazzetto dello Sport Palapellicone in Ostia Rome, Giuseppe De Tullio obtained a prestigious third place in the minus 66 kilos category at the end of an exciting competition. There remains a small regret for the match lost in the semifinal that had to be won. Good performances but not very lucky with the draws for Mattia Tocci (kg.-81) who, after winning the first match, loses Lupu and Salvetti with two thirds. Paolo Parise comes out with dignity in the first round after having fought on equal terms with the third classified Schiraldi in the category (kg.-66).
In Ostia, Ilaria Finestrone wins the silver medal for the Juniors minus 48 chli for the Italians. In Lodi, bronze for Simona Anelli at the Italy Lombardy Trophy in the -44 kg category after 4 high-level matches. Ginevra Cafaro does not pass the quarters despite her having given her all with pride.
