It’s about 5 VfB professionals – This is how Stuttgart plans with its loan players – Bundesliga

Stay, go or come back?

VfB has already been able to put a stop to the future of two loan players: Dinos Mavropanos (24) and Hiroko Ito (23) have been signed with a purchase option and should remain at VfB.

BILD says how the other loan players will continue.

Omar Marmoush (23) moved to the Neckar from Wolfsburg and played a major role in staying up in the league with three goals and five assists. According to “Kicker”, VfB would like to keep Marmoush.

But: Wolfsburg’s sports director Marcel Schäfer (37) has repeatedly made it clear that Marmoush will return to VfL. Does that still apply under the new coach Niko Kovac (50)?

The attacker still has a year’s contract, and VfB would have to pay a fee of at least five million euros.

Darko Churlinov (21) became a key player in the final sprint for promotion as a VfB loan to Schalke and has not yet been dismissed by the club. Schalke want Churlinov – and Churlinov want Schalke. VfB is currently demanding around three million euros for the North Macedonian. Too much for the Gelsenkirchener. A decision will probably not be made until the end of the transfer window.

Philip Klement (29) was seeded at SC Paderborn in the second half of the season. His future has not yet been clarified, staying in Paderborn and returning to VfB are unlikely.

► The central defenders’ loans Maxime Awoudja (24/WSG Tirol) and Antonis Aidonis (21/Dynamo Dresden) were rather poor. Awoudja lost his squad place at the end of the season, Aidonis didn’t play a minute in 2022. VfB is also planning without the duo. Winger Momo Cisse (19) is staying at Wisla Kraków for another year as planned.
