The Orlando Magic will enjoy the great privilege of choosing first in the draft. On the three previous occasions in which they took the pick 1 (1992, 1993 and 2004) chose to select a tall man: Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber and Dwight Howard. A result that aims to be repeated once again.
In this edition, the litter comes loaded very talented in the interior positions, who will capture, according to initial forecasts, the highest positions in the draft. Thus, the podium is currently made up of Paolo Banchero, Chet Holgrem and Jabari Smith Jr. From this trident, the Magic could have chosen their two favorite players.
According to information from the journalist ESPNAdrian Wojnarowski, Holgrem and Smith Jr. are the two talents currently competing for the first position in the draft and, with it, a hole in the roster from Florida. In fact, the main mock draft of the NBA place both players in the first two places, which would mean that Magic and Thunder will be the graceful teams.
Besides of pick 1 pick, the Magic also own the 32nd and 35th second-round picks, which they can use to recruit more young talent or as potential trade assets.
