The provincial champions who will represent Rovigo at the regional stages, for the first time, at Lido di Rosolina Mare have been determined
ROVIGO – After two years of hiatus, the provincial finals of the beach volleyball student championships were held in Rovigo in the No Way facilities in Viale Marconi.which involved the categories of pupils, pupils, male and female juniores of secondary schools, organized by the provincial school office, in collaboration with Fipav Rovigo.
It was not a full restart for the Ministry of Education, which, to ensure maximum anti-contagion security, authorized the practice of only some sports, outdoors and with little contact. In addition to athletics, tennis and badminton, beach volleyball has also had its comeback.
The participants. 29 couples took to the field with more than 100 students from 11 high schools involved: Paleocapa High School of Rovigo, Itis Viola of Rovigo, Ita Agrario of Rovigo, Cipriani Hotel Institute of Adria, Itis De Amicis of Rovigo, Itse of Porto Viro, Ipc of Rovigo, Celio High School of Rovigo, Roccati High School of Rovigo, Ipc Marco Polo of Rovigo and Ita Munerati of Rovigo.
The competitions were played on four fields and the refereeing was entrusted to the students of the Liceo Sportivo Paleocapa: Chiara Ferracin, Alessandro Fraccascia, Valentina Maggio, Alessia Marabese and Giulia Raisi, as qualified for the function after passing the school referee course.
The meetings, always held with the utmost commitment and experienced with participatory enthusiasm by the girls and boys, determined the following final ranking:

The Pupils classified in the first four places of the final ranking will represent the province of Rovigo at the regional phase scheduled for 31 May exceptionally and for the first time since the birth of this school competition, at the Lido di Rosolina Mare at the Bagno Perla establishment. All the representative teams were awarded with cups / medals material from the provincial school office and a kit of Fipav sports material.
