Henke: It was like this. But we were also lucky with Lars’ artful shot. However, we knew beforehand that we also need luck. Juve really were the best team in Europe back then. It was good that we took the lead early on through Kalle Riedle and then realized that Juventus was getting better and better. If we hadn’t managed that fantastic goal by Lars, Juve would have gotten us. We certainly played well, put in a tremendous fighting performance, but we also had that little bit of luck that you need. But we totally believed in ourselves because we had gained a huge amount of self-confidence.
