DThe Hamburg Stealers have built on their track record in the North Group of Baseball Bundesliga. Thanks to the two wins against the Cologne Cardinals, head coach David Wohlgemuth’s team left the field as winners for the third time in a row, thus consolidating their playoff rank.
At 7:2 in the first duel, the Stealers were still under pressure at the beginning, but then largely dominated the action. Brehan Murphy hit a home run. In the second game (5:3), pitcher Sean Cruz threw through, as in the previous week in Dortmund, as it is called in technical jargon.
