After the brilliant participation in the Buenos Aires Judo Tournament, in which almost all the competitors of the Quilmes Atltico Club obtained the gold medal, the National Opening Tournament was played in the city of Villa Carlos Paz, province of Córdoba.
There, at the Microestadio Arenas, between May 5 and 8, this contest was held in which they participated representing the QAC Luisina Mallo Romano (female kiu category up to 48 kilos), Brian Morguen (male kiu up to 73 kg. ), who won the bronze medal, Agustín Peirano (men’s kiu up to 81 kg.), who got the silver medal, Gianluca Copani (men’s junior up to 81 kg.), achieved fifth place, and Nicolás Molinaro (men’s senior up to 73 kg.).
Great performance by the beer judokas, always under the direction of their coaches Flavio Molinaro and Diego Gurzi. It should be noted that the tournament had more than one thousand three hundred participants from all over the country and representatives of the Paraguayan and Uruguayan national teams.
