TRIESTE Two months. It’s been a little over sixty days since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, and for the thousands of people who fled westward from bombs and bullets, that’s long enough to try and find something that looks like normal. It will never be, of course, but it resembles us, or at least this is the goal: a fixed-term almost normalcy, made up of school, Italian courses, soccer and judo training in the afternoon, walks on the banks and work.
