Since 1993, Electronic Arts has been developing the hit football game tagged “Fifa” through a 29-year-old partnership with the football federation. But now, after a fruitful collaboration, the two partners had been in conflict for several months around the renewal of the right to use the prestigious license. the New York Times reports since October 2021 that the football federation wanted to double the price of its license in order to obtain a billion dollars every four years from EA and wanted to retain the possibility of associating its name with other games.
