Sport board member Hasan Salihamidzic from Bayern Munich attacked the agent of the world footballer in the ongoing exchange theater around Robert Lewandowski. “He’s had an adviser who’s been driving his head all year. “I can’t say what he said to the player,” added Salihamidzic, adding that he was “surprised” by the player’s agent’s behavior. Unlike Zahavi, he would “never” “publicize” details of contract talks.
Lewandowski had publicly stated that he wanted to leave Bayern – preferably this summer. He is being courted by FC Barcelona, whose coach Xavi said: “It is possible that he will come.”

Barca are said to have submitted a first written offer for a fee of €32m. “We don’t want to talk publicly about it now, whether there are any offers or not,” said Salihamidzic and repeated Bayern’s position: “One thing is clear: Lewa has a contract until the summer of next year – and he will fulfill it .”
For the record champions, the 33-year-old is “the most important player that many clubs in Europe would like to have. We have the greatest appreciation for Lewa. Bayern have always behaved correctly towards him.”
With captain Manuel Neuer, they are “on the home stretch” in terms of an extension, reported Salihamidzic: “I’m very optimistic about that. Manuel is a very important player, a key to success.” Neuer is to extend his contract, which runs until summer 2023, by one year.
