FC Bayern: Ajax star Mazraoui announces change to Munich after the championship – football

“Kampioenen, kampioenen” was already shouted by thousands of fans in Amsterdam’s entertainment district around the Leidseplein on Wednesday afternoon!

And they were right: Ajax Amsterdam secured their 36th championship in the Dutch Eredivisie with a 5-0 thrashing of Heerenveen on Wednesday evening. The third title in a row for coach Erik ten Hag’s team. And a perfect conclusion for the 52-year-old, who will succeed Ralf Rangnick (63) at Manchester United for the new season.

It is also the farewell title for the two stars Noussair Mazraoui (24) and Ryan Gravenberch (19) who are about to move to Bayern.

Mazraoui even confirmed his transfer to ESPN immediately after the game, which BILD had reported weeks ago as almost fixed: “Yes, you can finally say: Congratulations. It is finished. I waited until we secured the league title to announce it. After Ajax, Bayern is my dream club.”

Ajax star announces Bayern change

The starting point is already simple before the game: if Ajax wins the game on the penultimate day, the title is certain. It doesn’t matter how second-placed PSV Eindhoven plays against Nijmegen (3-2).

And that’s how Ajax goes into the game – makes everything clear early on

19. Minute: Cross from the right in the direction of the edge of the penalty area, Tadic continues to the left, where Tagliafico is free and takes aim to make it 1-0.

33.: Timber plays a one-two with Tadic in Heerenveen’s sixteen, who throws it away, Berghuis scores to make it 2-0 – a small preliminary decision!

37.: Berghuis is brought down by Dresevic in the penalty area – the referee points to the point. Sebastien Haller (27), who was still kicking in Frankfurt until 2019, puts it in, even if goalkeeper Mulder still touched the ball. So by half time almost everything was clear!

But Ajax hasn’t had enough!

85.: Leipzig loanee Brian Brobbey dusts off after a volley from Daramy to make it 4-0!

90.: Corner, shot from the second row and Alvarez is allowed to put his foot down as well, deflecting the ball under the crossbar to make it 5-0.

The rest was party, party, party. However, it is questionable whether the hot-blooded Ajax fans will remain peaceful. Already in the afternoon the first pyro fireworks and parasols were burning in the nightlife area, how “The Telegraph” reported. In the stadium it continued with a lot of pyro.
