Eintracht Frankfurt is in the final of the Europa League. After the game, unbelievable scenes take place in the stadium. Fans and players are drunk with joy, but already thinking about the final against Glasgow Rangers.

Ztwo minutes before the final whistle, the Frankfurt fans were forced out of their blocks. They lined up along the rink and eagerly awaited the final whistle. When referee Jesus Gil Manzano ended the game, the supporters knew no stopping. After Eintracht’s 1-0 win over West Ham United, they stormed the pitch and celebrated with the team reaching the Europa League final. There Frankfurt will meet Glasgow Rangers in Seviall on May 18, who beat RB Leipzig.

“I can not believe that. That’s incredible. Now it’s against Glasgow – tradition against tradition, that’s world class. When we’re in the final, we want to win the cup too. We will too, we’ll win the thing,” said Frankfurt President Peter Fischer on RTL.

Neither does Timothy Chandler. “There’s nothing hotter. Eintracht Frankfurt is simply the best club in the world,” said Chandler. The midfielder couldn’t say more as fans grabbed him, cheered him on and carried him off on their shoulders.

Eintracht remains undefeated

Frankfurt once again earned victory with a passionate performance. A statistic shows that the team can do more than just fight: Eintracht is unbeaten in this Europa League season, and of course they want to stay that way after the final and win the European Cup for the first time since 1980.

The win against West Ham was deserved, even if it benefited from Aaron Creswell’s early red card (19′). Frankfurt played cleverly and didn’t let the Londoners get any great chances. Again and again they had a foot in between, and again and again the defense prevented the decisive pass.
