Dalgubeol Sports Club is the first public sports club in Daegu to operate a fencing sport and foster advanced sports clubs.
Dalgubeol Sports Club, which was renovated in April last year after remodeling the Sports Welfare Center (former Daegu City Sports Association) in Daegu Complex Sports Town, has now secured about 600 members and is operating. start operation
Although fencing itself is well known through the Olympics and World Championships, it is not easy for the general public to directly access it.
Dalgubeol Sports Club decided to incorporate the sport of fencing into the sports club and took the lead in discovering promising players and nurturing them into elite athletes by experiencing fencing from a young age, and making it a popular sport that anyone can easily access.
Dalgubeol Sports Club is planning to operate a new kendo in addition to fencing in line with the gradual recovery atmosphere. In addition, badminton, table tennis, Go, Zumba, yoga, Pilates, line dance, trampoline (jumping), ballet, children’s physical education (play sports) etc. to contribute to the physical welfare and health promotion of local citizens.
