Manchester City is one step away from winning the Premier League. If they can win, Man City will match the achievements of Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson.

“It would be amazing, of course it would be amazing,” Guardiola said of the potential to match that feat Guardian.

“When I arrived, people here said the Premier League is very difficult, the league is the most difficult. All champions, different (teams), only Sir Alex Ferguson with United can win three or four times in five years. So when this happens, you realize the magnitude of this United team in this period, capable of doing it time and time again.”

“We almost did it or were a part of it, and we have to try. Being in this position, close, we will try. We are here as a consequence of what happened in the past. A lot of effort was put into the first season when we didn’t. champion,” said Guardiola.
