In the fight with Liverpool for the Premier League title, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola complains about the support received by the Reds in England (see here). An opinion shared by his Chelsea counterpart Thomas Tuchel, who gave his explanation before facing Jürgen Klopp’s team in the FA Cup final this Saturday (5:45 p.m.).
“You know that ‘Kloppo’ is the master to be the outsider, denounced the Blues coach. He can talk to you as an outsider against Villarreal and Benfica. It’s even a miracle when they manage to draw against them. He does it all the time, many times. That’s also where the sympathy comes from.”
“(…) It’s to his credit and that’s what you face when you play against him. It’s always the fun part and if we’re the bad guys on Saturday, no problem. We takes this role, we do not want the sympathy of the country, we want the trophy”, warned Tuchel.
