Checo Pérez wins the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix

Czech Perez (Red Bull) wins the Monaco Grand Prix of formula 1 with a great race strategy beating the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz (Second), his teammate Max Verstappen (Third) and Monegasque Charles Leclerc who finished fourth.

Sergio Pérez He came out behind the two Ferraris, that of Sainz and that of the Monegasque Charles Leclerc, who again suffered the curse that accompanies him at home, where, this time, at least, he was able to reach the finish line, not like in the previous.

The Mexican took advantage of his first stop in the pits to overtake the two Ferraris when they passed through the pit lane and victory did not escape him, although he had to defend himself against Sainz due to the wear of his tires, in a race with two red flags, one for rain and another for an accident involving Mick Schumacher (Haas) who fortunately escaped unharmed when his car split in two.

The Monaco Grand Prix started with a bang. The appearance of rain ten minutes before the start altered the plans. It was initially delayed by nine minutes, another seven minutes were added and the cars started behind the safety car until the red flag was shown after the first lap of the finish line.

Charles Leclerc he opened a gap with respect to Sainz (more than five seconds in twelve laps); Pérez and Verstappen approached the man from Madrid, who squeezed.

The man from Guadalajara entered the pits on lap 17 to put on intermediate tires. He signed a good stop (2.3 by 2.7 Hamilton) and overtook Leclerc (Ferrari).

Carlos Sainz lengthened the stop and changed to hard at 22 laps, the Monegasque immediately stopped for the second time and was very angry with his team on the radio.

Czech he also stopped again to put on the same tire as Sainz, who was between him and Verstappen. Leclerc was fourth.

The man from Madrid, with tires at temperature, overcame the man from Guadalajara, with a scare included and a dose of luck so as not to lose the car.

After the crash of Mick Schumacher (Haas) the race was resumed with 37 laps to go after the safety car. Although they would dispute less because there were 45 minutes left.

A plane of Sergio Pérez, with medium tyres, after over braking he was able to put Sainz, who was wearing hard, on alert. The one from Red Bull imposed a slow pace to ensure and achieved his victory under pressure from Sainz.
