Charles Leclerc will be first in Monaco ahead of Sainz and “Checo” Pérez

Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) will start first this Sunday at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, which is being held at the Monte Carlo urban circuit, where yesterday he dominated a qualifying that ended earlier than expected, with a red flag in due to two accidents, fortunately, no major consequences in the circuit tunnel.

Leclerc set the fifth pole of the year with a record of one minute, 11 seconds and 376 thousandths, 225 less than his Spanish teammate Carlos Sainz; that he will come out next to him from the front row, ahead of the Red Bulls of the Mexican Sergio Pérez -third- and the Dutchman Max Verstappen, world leader and last world champion; which will start fourth.

The two-time world champion, Fernando Alonso from Asturias, will finish seventh, accompanied in the fourth row by Lewis Hamilton, eighth. In front of him will be the Englishmen Lando Norris and George Russell.
