BRINDISI – The agents of the Flying Squad of the Brindisi Police Headquarters arrested TC (class 86) responsible for the crime of evasion from house arrest and considered the perpetrator of the robbery carried out late Monday evening in a commercial establishment in Brindisi.
From an initial reconstruction of the facts, it emerged that around 11.50 pm on 9 May a young man, with a baseball cap and his face covered by a mask, after having consumed a coffee, reached the barista behind the counter and after having threatened her with a knife, took possession of the proceeds and then fled.
The policemen were able to reconstruct the dynamics also thanks to the images of the video surveillance systems and recognized the young man who had left his home shortly before the robbery. After a night of searching, the young man was found and arrested in the act of crime for escaping from house arrest and under investigation for robbery. After the formalities and the seizure of the knife, found in a communal garden not far from the place of the robbery, the young man was taken to prison.
