Borussia Mönchengladbach: Coach’s decision in May! – Bundesliga

A coaching decision has already been made in Gladbach: Ex-pro Eugen Polanski (36, most recently U17 coach at Borussia) takes over the U23s in the regional league. Heiko Vogel (46), who only made the rescue with the “Zwoten” clear on the last day of the game, has to go.

Is it now also very fast for the professionals?

When Adi Hütter (52) and Borussia announced the “amicable separation” initiated by the club after the 5-1 win over Hoffenheim, manager Roland Virkus (55) gave an amazing time frame for the search for a successor: They want to “initiate appropriate measures in order to prepare for the new season in a new constellation at the end of June.”

Now BILD has learned: The fans no longer have to be patient. The decision will probably be made next week, but certainly in May!

Virkus is currently holding several talks at home and abroad. The top candidates are Lucien Favre (64), Daniel Farke (45 / both free) and André Breitenreiter (48 / FC Zurich, but according to SPORTBILD has an exit clause with a transfer fee of 300,000 euros in the contract).

As before Hütter, the chance of getting Niko Kovac (50/most recently Monaco) is checked.

The ex-Bayern coach has just given his buddy Fredi Bobic (50) a basket at Hertha for next season, but is about to return to the Bundesliga.
