Bernat Vivolas will continue to lead the GEiEG basketball for another season

The GEiEG announced this afternoon the renovation by Bernat Vivolas as the coach of the team that competes in the Women’s League 2. In this way, he will live his ninth season at the club and the second in a row leading the first team.

Vivolas now faces what he defines as a “challenge” and does so with great “enthusiasm” and with the aim of further “consolidate” a team that is “making a name for itself in the category.” He admits, however, that the season will not be easy because “We have just made a historic year and the pressure will be higher “as” rivals will come with more respect and caution “so” it will be up to us to work hard. ”

The first mission is none other than to build a sufficiently competitive staff he will not be able to count on Faustine Parra, which leaves the GEiEG after playing the last three seasons. “We lost a very important player but each season we had ups and downs, so it’s nothing new for the team. In the coming days and weeks we will be presenting new faces.”

With Vivolas at the helm, the team has just signed an excellent year. He closed out the regular season with the best record ever 17 wins and 9 losses. A performance that helped the GEiEG to qualify for the promotion stages held in Melilla. Despite winning the first of the first three races, she was unable to secure a ticket to the Women’s League Challenge.
