Weißenfels (SID) – John Bryant, twice the most valuable player (MVP) in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), has extended his expiring contract with Syntainics MBC until 2024. The club from Weißenfels announced this on Monday. The native American with a German passport switched from JobStairs Giessen 46ers to MBC in January.
“John Bryant was an important signing. After his arrival, he quickly became the calm pool in our team, both on and off the pitch. Having him available from the start next season means we can put him into the game even better integrate,” said coach Igor Jovovic.
In 18 appearances, Bryant (34) averaged 5.7 points and 4.2 rebounds. The Serb Goran Huskic, like Bryant Center, on the other hand, leaves the MBC after just one season.
