One of the most spectacular events at the National Universiade, athletics, has come to an end. The competition took place at the Benito Juárez University Olympic Stadium in Chihuahuawhere the delegation of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMéx) won nine medals.

Of these nine medals, two were gold, three silver and four bronze, reality expected more, but for the moment athletics is the discipline that contributes the most medals and it will surely be so, the rest will not be able to overcome it due to the number of members that make up each one of them.
Such is the case of Badminton, Archery, University wrestling, Table Tennis and Box, which could increase the number of medals and exceed the 10 that have been registered so far. You have to remember that Judo became the first discipline to provide the first medal (bronze).
Undoubtedly, the harvest of medals in the 18 disciplines that represent the UAEMéx, for the moment, is low during the XXIV edition of the most important university sports festival in the country.
