Two services from Gabriel Izarra and a couple of goals from Izeta pave the way

Arenas gave a good account of Espanyol B in a fast-paced match that was settled in a brilliant first half for the Getxotarras. Toño Vadillo’s men took advantage of Albiazul’s defensive warmth to score four goals in the first period. The second part has been Catalan. The subsidiary of the parakeet team has shortened distances in the final stretch of the match and has made a group of Getxotarra go through hardships emptied, which has finished at the limit of its physical endurance. With a total dedication, the Biscayans have earned the pass to the finals of the promotion phase.

It seemed that things were beginning badly for Gobela’s men, who suffered the warning of the first two occasions from Espanyol B in six minutes. Despite everything, the Biscayan team has not relented in its high pressure and has taken advantage of that lukewarm defense to get ahead on the scoreboard.

Much of the blame has been Gabriel Izarra, who has exercised hegemony on the right wing to serve two passes on a tray to his teammates. The first came in the 13th minute, with a Rozas who entered through the center and connected his shot with his foot for displaying more conviction than his rival.

It has taken a little longer to expand the account. His other measured service has reached Izeta, only at the far post. Arenas’s top scorer dropped the ball with his head and hit a volley from close range to make it 0-2. By then the Getxotarra team was comfortable. He defended himself with order and launched dangerous counters.

The next goal came in the 41st. Although the tables have turned because this time it was Rozas who penetrated from the left so that Gabriel Izarra headed across the far post. But the account was not going to end there. Cortezón went alone in the area and served another pass to Izeta, who thus sealed his brace for the day six minutes later.

blue and white domain

With such a result, everything seemed resolved, but the Catalan team tried anyway in a second half of clear blue and white dominance. The changes made by Xavier Corominas have paid off. Espanyol B’s incursions have followed one another with three good responses from Landeta, who have saved Vadillo’s men.

Another fundamental issue has been that the parakeet subsidiary has been slow to score. His first goal was in the 80th minute. The good work of Julián Mahicas has served to close the gap. First after a pass from Svenssson in the area, in Arenas’ first defensive error, and then when he headed a plank pass only at the far post. It was the 87th minute, and Espanyol did not stop percussing.

Gobela’s team looked tired. They have emptied themselves in a fast-paced game, one of those who are fans. Many players have ended up with physical problems, which has not prevented them from celebrating to the fullest in the locker room. They have earned the pass based on work and tenacity. The first step is already saved and it’s time to dream for the next game with that long-awaited promotion to First RFEF.
