Shooting an arrow is the most delicate moment of the noble art of archery. It takes aim, direction, strength and above all concentration.
To learn some of these ancient secrets the company of Archers King Astolfo di Carpi organizes for Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May two demonstration days, open to all, adults and children from 9 years of age, at the archery range located at the Appalto di Soliera, SS Modena-Carpi , 277 (in front of Esselunga).
“Our company is a historical group founded in 1972 by Ugo Parenti which proposes a discipline, that of archery, relaxing and educational for physical and inner balance, respecting others and nature – explains the member of the board Diego Luppi– In addition to participating in the national archery championship, we actively participate in historical re-enactments of Carpi and its surroundings, trying to convey our passion to others. Everyone can do archery, from children to the elderly. I personally approached this sport to improve my posture and also for fun “.
The company of Archers King Astolfo, led by the president Maurizio Dallarifor fifty years it has also been a hotbed of champions and young talents, including Andrea Parenti, son of the founder, who was bronze medal in the team competition at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, world silver and who also participated in the 1988 Seoul and 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, and Cristiano Malavasi who is the Italian indoor champion of the Olympic arc in the Master 2022 category. The event will be held outdoors, without the need for pre-registration and sports clothing is recommended.
