The Archers of Pontivy organize themr annual 3D contest in the municipality of Malguenac (Morbihan), this Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15, 2022, at the Saint-Néot sports hall, the competition takes place outdoors.
24 targets
“3D shooting is practiced in platoons on a course made up of 24 targets. These are animal representations in polyurethane, real size. We can score 5, 8, 10 or 11 points depending on the areas affected, ”explains Mickaël Le Gal, secretary of the company.
Each archer shoots two arrows. The shooting distances range from 5 to 30 m and even 45 m for free shots, depending on the categories. “A specific firing point is reserved for youth (youngest, minimal) and to those who wish discover the discipline », invite-t-il.
It is possible to take part in a 3D shooting with one of these 5 bows: bare classic, hunting, longbow, chicken bow without sight and free shooting. An individual classification is established as well as a classification by team comprising three archers from the same club.
For the podiums, the awards ceremony will take place this Sunday, May 15 around 5-5:30 p.m.
