It’s official: after the direct rise of Stade Lavallois, FC Annecy will be the second National club to directly join Ligue 2. Thirty years later, the Savoyards won their ticket to the antechamber of French football after winning at home against Sedan (2-0) thanks to a double from former Niçois Alexy Bosetti (75th, 78th sp). The two clubs will therefore replace AS Nancy-Lorraine and USL Dunkerque, relegated to the third division.
It remains to be seen who will face FC Villefranche Beaujolais, which ends this 2021/2022 season of National 1 in third place, synonymous with play-offs against 18th in Ligue 2, which could be Quevilly Rouen Métropole (18th, 37 points, reception of Dunkirk on the 38th day of L2) or Rodez (17th, 40 pts, reception of Caen). Answer during the multiplex of the last day Saturday evening from 7 p.m.
