The Municipal Education Bureau issued a relevant notice on the same day, which made it clear that this year’s Wuhan sports reserve talent qualification certification time is April 23, and the registration deadline for the qualification test for junior high school graduates sports arts special students is April 18. The official website also announced the 2022 list of schools recruiting sports and arts students and the list of schools recruiting sports reserve talents.
70 high schools recruit sports reserve talents
In terms of the qualification recognition of sports reserve talents, the notice clarifies that on April 23, the recognition work will be started in each school that has the admission qualification. According to the epidemic situation and the actual situation of the project, the identification work is carried out by a combination of sports competition performance review and on-site test identification. The identified object is the third grade graduating students who have the qualifications for the Wuhan Senior High School Entrance Examination and who meet the registration requirements for the corresponding programs of the Sports Reserve Talent School.
Jimu news reporters saw that in the annex to the notice, a total of 70 high schools in Wuhan recruited sports reserve talents this year. Among them, there are 15 sports reserve schools for football, 14 for basketball, 23 for track and field, 4 for volleyball, 2 for shooting, 2 for table tennis, 5 for aerobics and cheerleading, shuttlecock, taekwondo , tennis, martial arts, badminton direction each has a school.
The notice reminds that each candidate can only choose 1 school to sign up for the sports reserve talent program certification test. Enrolling schools determine the specific eligibility requirements for sports reserve talents for each project according to actual needs, and formulate enrollment guidelines. The enrollment guidelines must include training objectives, training programs, admission standards, and testing procedures.
In addition, in order to reflect the fairness, impartiality and openness of the identification work, the central city (development zone) examination committee is uniformly assigned by the Municipal Education Bureau. During the test, the district education bureau will arrange for representatives of the People’s Congress of Culture, Education and Health or CPPCC members, discipline inspection and supervision departments, and non-examiners. In terms of the qualifications of junior high school graduates for sports and art specialties, the methods of accreditation are divided into two types: “exemption certification” and “test certification”. Among them, in terms of “exemption certification”, if one of the following conditions is met, fresh junior high school graduates who voluntarily apply for this year’s high school with the sports and arts specialty student enrollment plan in the central city can be exempted from taking the specialty test for specialty students and directly obtain the specialty student qualification of the corresponding major : 1. Participate in the municipal art talent competition in the junior high school and win the second prize or above (including the second prize); 2. Participate in the competition organized by the Municipal Education Bureau, the Municipal Sports Bureau and the higher-level sports department in the junior high school, and achieve the corresponding achievement standards.
In terms of “test recognition”, if one of the following conditions is met, the fresh junior high school graduates who voluntarily apply for the high school with the sports and arts specialty student enrollment plan in the central city this year must take the specialty student test. 1. Participate in the district art talent competition in the junior high school and win the third prize or above (including the third prize); 2. Participate in the competition organized by the district-level and above education and sports departments in the junior high school and win the top eight.

Among them, the music test items are vocal music, instrumental music, dance; art assessment sketches and colors; in the sports (track and field) category, standing long jump, 100 meters, and 800 meters are mandatory items, and candidates can choose a main item (track and field) to participate in the test. . In the announced list of schools recruiting sports and art students in 2022, a total of 95 high schools in Wuhan recruit such candidates.
The notice shows that students with multiple exemption conditions can only choose one of them to declare. Candidates who apply for this year’s high school enrollment plan for students with special skills in sports and arts in the central urban area must pass the qualification certification for students with special skills in physical arts and arts organized by the Municipal Education Bureau; Candidates from the Program High School and Hannan No. 1 High School are required to pass tests organized by their respective districts to qualify.
