Borussia Dortmund have been warming up for next weekend’s “Klassiker” against Bayern Munich. Axel Witsel scored one of the many goals against Wolfsburg. Koen Casteels had to turn around 6 times in the German league match.

Last week Koen Casteels celebrated his 220th appearance in the Bundesliga with a big win against Bielefeld (4-0). His 221st match was different.

The Red Devils reserve goalkeeper got one goal after another in Dortmund. Midway through the first half, 17-year-old Tom Rothe opened the scoring with his head.

After that it went fast. Witsel doubled the lead on a pass from star player Haaland. Akanji cleared a free kick from Reus, Can made it 4-0 and Haaland scored for the first time in 6 matches.

After just 38 minutes, the scoreboard indicated 5-0. Match played.

After the break, Haaland added another. In the final phase Baku saved the honor for Wolfsburg: 6-1.

Casteels and Bornauw were in the starting lineup for the visitors. Vranckx came in, Lukebakio stayed on the bench.
