The runner-up that he won at the beginning of the month opens the doors for him to be part of the national team in the European Cup

Avilesian judo returns to give the positive note with the call of Adrián González by the Spanish under 21 team for the dispute of the Junior European Cup. The runner-up of Spain, who plays in Judo Avilés, is the only Asturian to be part of an expedition that also includes judokas such as the Valencian Guillermo Caprani, the Catalan Ricard Muñoz, the Madrid Gonzalo Mateos or the Galician Christian Morales.

Adrián González will be one of the two Spanish representatives in the +100 kilos category along with Valencian Davit Kevlishvili, the judoka who deprived him of obtaining gold in the Spanish junior championship held in Madrid at the beginning of the month. The Junior European Cup will be held in Malaga on May 21 and 22 and, later, the Spanish athletes will remain in the Andalusian city until the 25th to carry out a series of training sessions.

While the National League teams began the season in Madrid, the La Toba sports center hosted the second round of the Avilesian League organized by the Avilés Judo Club. In this appointment it was possible to see the good form of the schoolchildren and an even league is predicted ahead since the last appointment leaves victories for those who debuted with defeat, which has made the table even tighter.
