The Mirror: Ajax and Man United conclude a combination deal of three million euros

Ajax and Manchester United have agreed on Erik ten Hag, claims The Mirror. The club activated the clause in the Ajax coach’s contract, but money had to be added because of the situation surrounding Mitchell van der Gaag, who will become an assistant to Ten Hag in England.

Ten Hag and Manchester United were already finished, but Manchester United and Ajax not yet. Ten Hag could be picked up in Amsterdam for two million euros. However, a final agreement was delayed because Ten Hag wants to take Van der Gaag with him and Ajax did not want to let his assistant go for the same amount. According to The Mirror, Ajax and Manchester United have concluded a combination deal worth three million euros.

Manchester United and Ajax are expected to announce the Ten Hag deal soon. De Tukker was a trainer in Amsterdam for 4.5 years, under him the club achieved great success, including reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, two national titles and one first place (in the prematurely interrupted corona season).
