Illiers Combray. BO – The Archers of Combray have their sights set right. The change of office of the archery club Les Archers de Combray has brought new life. During the general meeting on Saturday, Alexandre Gaudin, the new president, mentioned his ideas for revitalizing the association, which has around thirty members of all ages.
The training team has evolved: “This allows us to train technical archers and not just archers who only shoot arrows”, explains the president. And it works: the club has entered seven archers in the departmental championship this year; two became runners-up.
The club organizes lucrative shootouts to “have fun and have fun”: Halloween, Christmas, Easter are the opportunity to practice in different and friendly contexts. Alexandre Gaudin is also at the origin of a project that is particularly close to his heart: a friendly competition open to all, on June 25, for the benefit of the SPA d’Amilly.
In the meantime, the club is offering non-licensees a discovery license until the end of the year to try their hand at archery.
