This Thursday, the III South American Youth Games begin, from the Argentine city of Rosario, and you will be able to enjoy the official opening of the event on Tves, Venezolana de Televisión’s sister channel.
With the participation of athletes between 14 and 18 years old, representing the 15 member countries of ODESUR, the formal opening ceremony will take place tonight, where the delegations, including that of Venezuela, will parade carrying their respective flags.
Already prior to the inauguration, different disciplines have been beginning. Tennis will continue its action this Thursday with a varied schedule of activities. While taekwondo, archery – a debut discipline in the games – swimming, table tennis and volleyball will also see their first practices and events take place.
Likewise, the delegations will be part of the Guided Visits program, which includes schools, clubs and social entities. A show of dancing waters, the swearing-in of the flags, and the president of Odesur, Camilo Pérez López Moreira, and the governor of Santa Fe, Omar Perotti, who is also in charge of declaring the South American Games officially open, are expected for the ceremony. of Youth 2022.
