TERNI His name is ‘CiccioArciere’ and he is the mascot of the 3D Archery World Championschips 2022 scheduled in Terni from 5 to 11 September next. “A universal archer, neither man nor woman but concentrated in sport, confident gesture, reassuring expression” explains Stefano Tombesi, national councilor of FitArco. He is one of the ‘Cicci-heroes’ that comes out of the collection of Lo Zoo di Simona and created specifically for this event. CiccioArciere has within itself the colors of the territory that hosts the event, the hearts represent a reminder of San Valentino, patron saint of the city, but above all ‘CiccioArciere’ wants to be a visual and replicable testimonial of a sport that has adapted to the times, to the environment, to continuous respect for others. “Precisely ‘CiccioArciere’ is round precisely because it is inclusive – concludes Tombesi – and in this contemporary world we really need inclusion and transversality”.
