Mía Delgado is the first basketball player from Guanajuato to reach the Sisnova LNBP Women’s League, and until a few days ago the youngest to be registered.

A few months ago, the young woman from Salamanca attended some “Try Outs” carried out by the Club Libertadores de Querétaro Femenil, attended by 23 players, standing out for their technical, tactical and physical skills, with an attitude and mentality that is above any difficulty.

In this regard, he comments, “I feel very happy, excited and very grateful to God and my family for their support, it is a big step in my life as an athlete, I am working and fighting for my goals, with my feet firmly on the ground, as They have instilled it in me and behind no one”.

Regarding the experience of being part of a Professional Basketball Club, he comments, “it’s a dream come true, when it comes to the Try Outs, the idea was just to learn how to show my talents and catch up with the players to see my level. , thank God they accepted me, I did not imagine being sincere, because it is another level, another type of strength that at 17 years old is very different (zic)”.

On the court, Mía Delgado plays as number two or winger and prior to the start of the historic first season she has been focused with the team, conducting three training sessions a day.

In the dressing room of the Arteaga gym, home of the Libertadores de Querétaro team, you can already see her sports locker room with her name and wearing the team uniform.
