Rain of medals with thirteen metals in a spectacular weekend for the CBP Ordoño II León

A great weekend for the CBP Ordoño León where a wide representation of its players traveled to Avilés (Asturias) and Solares (Cantabria) to play a test of the Asturian territorial circuit and a master’s degree in Cantabria, both tests scoring for the national ranking.

It was in Avilés where the largest number of Leonese players traveled, 16 in total, divided into the sub 13, sub 19 and senior categories and it was there that they won 12 of the medals, 6 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze.

Eva Canal and Beatriz García won gold in the women’s doubles category B1 and did the same in the mixed category, Beatriz teaming up with Roberto García in the B1 category and Eva teaming up in C1 with Lorenzo Alonso. Roberto also won gold in the men’s singles category C1 and Lorenzo in the doubles category B2, teaming up with Asturian David Martín. The other gold was achieved by the under 13 players, Jon García and Javier Melón in the doubles category.

Great results in Cantabria

The two silver medals went to Jon García in the men’s individual under 13 and to María Galán in the women’s individual B1. The bronze medals went to María herself, forming a couple with Javier Pérez in mixed doubles C1, and for the men’s singles of Javier Pérez in the C1 category, Juan Carlos Blanco D and Hugo Pérez in sub 19.

Under 15 players Marco García and Pablo García traveled to Cantabria to play a Master in the under 17 category, winning the bronze medal in men’s doubles.
