Raducanu, for his fourth coach in less than a year

Since winning the US Open title last year, Emma Raducanu’s career has been a real roller coaster. for the 19-year-old British tennis player trying to find again the spark that made her shine in New York.

The best example of Raducanu’s lack of consistency is the change of coaches that the young British tennis player has made in the last year, as this Tuesday it has been known that the player has broken her relationship with her coach Torben Beltz, Angelique Kerber’s former coach, who stayed with her for the last five months since they started working together in November. The head of women’s coaches of the LTA, Iain Bates will be the one to work with Raducanu in the coming weeks during the Mutua Madrid Open.

Raducanu’s technical dance began after his emergence at Wimbledon, when he decided to change Nigel Sears for Andrew Richardson, with whom he achieved the greatest success of his career with the US Open last year. However, a few days later Raducanu broke up with Richardson and, after a brief spell with the Spanish Esteban Carril, he joined Beltz until this Tuesday he has announced the end of his collaboration while Raducanu is looking for a coach who will lead him to recover the spark that made him sneak into the elite of women’s tennis.
