There is a chance that Eli Dasa will leave Vitesse on a free transfer after this season. The right-back is running out of his contract this summer and is in the interest of Maccabi Tel Aviv.
According to the Israeli Sport5† Dasa’s transfer-free status provides the necessary interest. Maccabi Tel Aviv has already thrown a line at the defender, but whether that attempt has any chance of success remains to be seen. Sport5 states that Dasa prefers to work abroad, as a result of which he is holding off the boat for the time being.
Dasa himself does not want to give any clarity about his future. He indicates that there is also a possibility that he will stay in Arnhem. “I have not made that choice yet,” he said in an earlier interview with Voetbal International. “I will only do that after the season. Out of respect for the club.”
After the matches between AS Roma and Vitesse in the Conference League, José Mourinho praised Dasa, which would be in the interest of several clubs in Europe.
