This Saturday it became official through the social media account of the Basketball Hall of Fame organization, that the Argentine Emanuel David Ginóbili will officially be one of its members. For the first time a player from the South American country will engrave his name on the prestigious Naismith Memorial in Springfield Massachusetts. The ceremony will take place on September 10.

Ginobili was a four-time NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs.a team in which he played 16 seasons and won Olympic gold with his team at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. The native of Bahía Blanca expressed his joy and commented “Other things you never dream of when you start to bite the orange ball ”.

This is the first year that Manu could be elected, because one of the requirements to enter the hall of the immortals is that the postulate has been retired for at least four seasons.
