Nikola Vucevic’s big foul on Grayson Allen wasn’t revenge either…

Grayson Allen is probably happy to no longer cross paths with the Bulls, in the regular season at least. A month after being heavily fouled by Derrick Jones Jr., the Bucks fullback suffered a similar fate tonight, at the hands of Nikola Vucevic this time.

But like his Bulls teammate, the pivot ensures that this fault was not targeted against Grayson Allen. The latter has been the target of Bulls fans, who they have booed him again, since he dried out and injured Alex Caruso earlier in the season.

« My intention was not to foul, hurt him or anything.assures the Montenegrin. I was a little pushed around. When I tried to catch the ball, it looked worse on the action. Looking at the idle, we see that it is not so serious. I don’t even understand why I received a technical foul for that. »

The interior, also author of a catastrophic evening (7 points at 3/19 on shots), specifies having spontaneously addressed Grayson Allen and the other Bucks to clarify his intentions.

« Honestly, I didn’t hear the whistle and I don’t think he heard it either. I had the ball left handed, so I think he came in opposition to play the ball “Judges the Milwaukee player, author of 13 points in the great success of his training.

His coach, Mike Budenholzer, is more vehement about this gesture which, according to him, would have deserved a flagrant foul like Derrick Jones Jr. a month earlier. ” Yes, I think he overstepped his bounds. The referees thought that was not enough to be a flagrant foul. Basically, they said they watched the action four to five times but didn’t think that (that answered) to the criteria, whatever they may be. »
