Beijing time on April 20th, in today’s Australian U20 National Basketball Championship, the NBA International Academy played by Chinese players Li Yongwei and Wang Junjie lost 52-65 to SA Red in their first game.
Chinese player Li Yongwei played 20.6 minutes with a poor hand. He scored 0 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks on 0 of 7 shots; Wang Junjie scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist on 3 of 9 shots. The NBA International Academy team, which experienced the cancellation of the flight, had a poor feel. Born in 2004, Li Yongwei is 1.96 meters tall. He is studying at the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University. Wang Junjie, who was born in 2005, is 2.06 meters tall. He is training at the NBA International Academy with Li Yongwei. Because of his excellent flexibility, it is understood that he has started to play No. 3. In the 2020 U15 finals, he scored 31 points and 19 rebounds to help the team win the championship and get the most valuable player.
