Michel Jansen was employed by FC Twente for a long time in the past and was promoted to the Eredivisie as technical director last season with FC Emmen. Isn’t this position at the Tukkers something for Jansen?
“If Jan Streuer would stop at FC Twente next year, that would fit Michel Jansen perfectly,” says Rene Wagelaar at FootballTime† “Why not? He has proven it at FC Emmen. “I’m not saying no”, Jansen laughs.
“If you normally think sober and you have a little view of players, then it is not even such a difficult profession,” continues Wagelaar. “Michel can do that, I am convinced. If you fall into the snake pit and you go with it, it will be difficult. But if you straight stays, and that he is, then he can do that at FC Twente. I wouldn’t know why not.”
