Miami Heat is in the second round of the NBA playoffs

Miami Heat defeated the Atlanta Hawks in the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs and is in the semifinals of the Eastern Conference. The 97:94 on Tuesday evening (local time) was the necessary fourth win in the fifth game of the series.

The success was achieved without the injured stars Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry. Best thrower for the winners was Victor Oladipo with 23 points. Miami next faces either the Philadelphia 76ers or the Toronto Raptors.

The Phoenix Suns beat the New Orleans Pelicans 112-97 at home and took a 3-2 lead in the series. Top scorer Devin Booker is still injured and will be absent from the Suns’ next game in New Orleans on Thursday. Brandon Ingram only got 22 points for the “Pels” this time.

The Memphis Grizzlies were also 3-2 against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 111-109 home win. Minnesota squandered another lead after the visitors were 13 points ahead in the last quarter. Ja Morant (30 points) scored the decisive basket for Memphis with a second to go.
