Taufik Hidayat, Liem Swie King, and Alan Budikusuma Criticize Indonesian Men’s Singles Players

Indonesian badminton legend Taufik Hidayat assesses that the achievements of the PBSI Pelatnas men’s singles have declined because in the last year Anthony Ginting et al. unable to win the title especially in the individual tournament level 1000.

The only title was won by Jonathan Christie. That’s at the level of 300 Swiss Open 2022.

While Ginting had to settle for coming out as a semifinalist in the event. Shesar Hiren Rhustavito also had no better performance because he was immediately eliminated in the first round.

Indonesian badminton legend Liem Swie King then spoke up. Not only agreeing with Taufik, he assesses that Jonathan Christie cs has not yet reached world class even though he is now in the top 10 in the world. Anthony Ginting is ranked fifth in the world, while Jonathan is at number 8, and Shesar is ranked 24th.

Three money in line with Alan Budikusuma’s opinion. He also believes that Indonesia’s current men’s singles achievement is lower than before because in the last year Jonathan, Ginting, and Shesar could only contribute one title at the Swiss Open. That too at super level 300 through Jonathan. Still far from expectations.
