(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 29 – The blue Elios Manzi won the bronze medal in the 66 kg at the European judo championships that started in Sofia. It took only a minute and a half to reach the golden score for the Sicilian to close the game with Azerbaijani Yashar Najafov for ippon. Italy touched the second medal with Francesca Milani, who finished fifth in the 48 kg, while Assunta Scutto in the 48 kg and – surprisingly – Odette Giuffrida in the 52 kg were placed in seventh place.
