Ciudad Juárez.- This Friday the archers of the Municipal Archery League traveled to the city of Chihuahua, where they will take part in the state championship of the specialty.
There are 11 athletes who will seek to sneak into the second selective control to reach the Conade 2022 National Games.
The categories in this pre-selective are youth A, cadets and youth A 18 and 19, as well as elite 20-21 male and female, in curved and compound modality.
The president of the Municipal League of the Archery League, Jaime Segura, said that the athletes must be in the first three places at the state level, and then make a minimum score in their control and manage to place themselves within the 29 positions to be at the national event.
For her part, the Secretary of the Archery League, María Aurora Ortega, explained that in the last state championship the Juarez team won 70 percent of the medals, so they hope to endorse that victory.
