In the last race of the program of the third stage of the Skeet Shooting World Cup 2022, held in Lonato del Garda, the highest step of the podium, in the Mixed Team skeet contest, the United States takes it.
In the competition that, at the 2024 Paris Olympics, will be part of the Five Circles program, it was the very favorites that prevailed Caitlin Connor and Vincent Hancock, capable of winning the very final 7-1 against the French duo formed by Lucie Anastassiou and Nicolas Lejeune.
Behind them instead, the two “third places” at stake were respectively won by Italy 1, with the blue duo formed by Diana Bacosi and Gabriele Rossetti who managed to beat Germany 6-4and Britain’s Emily Jane Hibbs and Karl Frederick Killander, after winning the 4-3 shoot off on Italia 2 (Chiara Di Marziantonio and Luigi Lodde) with some regrets for the missed podium.
The World Cup greets the splendid Lonato facility. The next appointment on the agenda, at an international level, is the World Cup reserved for juniors, which will be held in Suhl (Germany), from 9 to 20 May.
