IES La Orden faces the first leg of the league final in La Rinconada

The Recreativo IES La Orden will play this Saturday the first leg of the final of the Division of Honor. He will do so by measuring himself at the Rinconada Badminton Club in the Fernando Martín Pavilion at 18:30. The albiazul club got their ticket to the final in the match against CB San Fernando Valencia at the Andrés Estrada.

Paco Ojeda’s men reaped the biggest victory of the season, beating the Valencians 6-1. They won the mixed doubles, women’s doubles and all four singles matches. A final full of history. This supposes the tenth final between both clubs, first in Seville and then in Huelva. For his part, the sports director, Paco Ojeda, affirms about the team that “we arrived very plugged in, we finished the regular phase winning. In the first round it was all 5-2, in the second round 4-3 and in the semifinal 6-1 , just a few points from a 7-0 against San Fernando, so we are confident”.

He also adds that “We are training and psyching ourselves up. We are very keen on sports. There is the tension of a final. We know that nothing is done and we are starting from scratch”. “The rival started the first regular round but was reinforced by two Englishmen and they managed to finish first. Due to the regulations, they will not be able to play in the final since they joined the club later”, comments Ojeda.

Rinconada is “a strong and confident rival. It will be a nice game because we’re both up top”. Lastly, he appealed to player number eight, the fans: “Our history in the League has been one of clashes with Rinconada, 9 finals in total. Most of the time we have gotten a good result from Seville and our fans have always had a lot to do with it. Having our public in the stands cheering is fundamental for us”.
